Kathleen was incredible!!! I was such a skeptic of Reql estate agents in NJ as we moved from California looking for a home. She was patient and helped find is exactly what WE wanted ( not just me ??). She was kind and generous with sharing comps and backgrounds of homes and neighborhoods. She played a diligent negotiator once we found our dream home, and held us back from over bidding! She also helped us during escrow and inspections to ensure we didnt waste any money. Louise was terrific. She listened carefully to our requirements and made every attempt to satisfy our “must have” list. She literally took us from upper Bergen County down to southern Middlesex County where we finally purchased a home that checked all the boxes. Kathleen Lamendola has been amazing to work with. We are first time buyers who decided to purchase in the crazy sellers market of fall 2021. Right from helping us figure out what we actually wanted, what was affordable in our price range and how to go about the process, Kathleen handheld us through it all. She is very knowledgeable about the whole process, and worked with us with a lot of patience as we figured out what exactly is our dream home. When we zeroed in on the house we wanted finally, in May 2022, Kathleen was instrumental in helping us understand the market and lining up the various inspections that would be necessary for the home we wanted. This particular deal however fell through and did not close. Kathleen stayed in close communication with the sellers agent and the attorneys through it all. Even after we ended up back in the market looking for our dream home in June 2022, Kathleen was a great help in arranging visits to all the homes that might fit our criteria despite her own trying personal circumstances at the time. When we finalized our current house, Kathleen went above and beyond by scheduling and coordinating the multiple inspections for us at short notice. She also stepped in for us on occasions when we were unavailable to supervise. Our closing timeline (of Aug 2022) made life a bit chaotic, as we chose to close only a few days before our baby was due - we wanted to welcome our newborn in our new home. Kathleen managed the entire closing process for us. She was very flexible with her time, and made us feel like her only clients. She also helped us navigate our options so we closed on time. Even now, that we have moved into our new home, we continue to rely on Kathleen's network of contacts and experience to help us transition into the role of homeowners. Abby helped my husband and I buy our first home during the crazy 2021-2022 housing market. She was patient and informative from day 1, showing us homes at a variety of price points and towns in the initial months so we could get a sense of what we wanted/needed and where we wanted to live. My wife and I worked with Vikas from February 2022 until May 2022, when we closed on the home we ended up buying. I work in northeast Pennsylvania and commute by car, whereas my wife works in NYC and commutes by train. Therefore, easy/quick accessibility to NJ Transit train station and I-80/I-78 were important factors. Vikas started by helping us identify New Jersey towns and neighborhoods that would work best for us, based on our commutes and other key factors. Next, Vikas provided us with listings, as they became available in the towns / neighborhoods that we were interested in. He met with us, whenever we asked him to, for open houses or walk-throughs at the homes we were interested in. When we found homes that we were interested in, Vikas not not only provided us with comps on other homes in the neighborhood that had sold over the past 12 months, but also explained to us what the numbers meant and what range a competitive offer should fall within. This guidance was extremely helpful given how aggressive the market was at that time. The first offer we made on a home we liked, while above the listing price, was not nearly as high as it needed to be in order to succeed. Vikas knew this and explained this to us, but he never pressured us to increase our offer since he could tell that we weren't as excited about this home as we needed to be in order to increase the offer. Although we did not get the home, that experience really increased our trust for Vikas. We knew we were working with the right agent, whose primary motivation was to help us end up in a home that we would be excited to live in. As we continued our search, we made two other offers, and Vikas helped us through those. We ended up getting the home we wanted - one that we were really excited to live in - in March. During the next steps, Vikas leveraged his agency's network to connect us with an attorney who made our lives much easier during the next steps in the process leading up to the closing. Additionally, when we had questions about specific things (such as taxes in the township), Vikas leveraged this agency's network of subject matter experts to connect us with people who could answer our question. In summary, we benefited from Vikas' deep understanding of the New Jersey real estate market in Essex, Morris, and Union counties (which contained the towns we were interested in) and how to structure a competitive offer in an aggressive real estate market. And it was a pleasure to work with an agent who had our best interest in mind, provided sound advice, and never pressured us to make an offer on a property we weren't interested in or make an excessive offer if we were not excited about the property. And his network of attorneys, mortgage providers, and other experts made the closing process painless for us.

Laura was a massive help to us in our first time housing search, especially helpful in navigating during this unprecedented market. We already had in mind a few towns that we were looking to buy in, and Laura's local knowledge and tips helped us to focus our search. My wife Mary Jane and I worked with Amy Esposito to purchase our home in Glen Ridge, NJ. We originally met Amy in the fall of 2018 through a work colleague of Mary Jane and we quickly realized that Amy was going to be a good fit. Our search started in Madison and  Chatham, NJ. Four years ago,  I started throwing an annual client party for two reasons. We worked with Abby Tanzer from Sue Adler to find our first home together (after getting married in the midst of COVID)! Abby was nothing short of fantastic. She did a ton of prep with us ahead of looking at homes, took the time to understand our preferences and what was important to us, and  suggested new things to think about in the context of each house. She made sure that we saw the neighborhood that each house was in as we drove from one to another, ensured that we noticed little things (both good and bad) in the homes that we might not have otherwise, and was often better than us at understanding how our tastes and preferences evolved as we saw more and more residences. We were never fully sold on moving out from NYC to NJ when we started our process with Abby and she never pushed us or made us feel like we had to go ahead with a purchase - she continually said that she supported whatever decision was best for us, and would always be here to help later on, should we not decide to buy at this time. Once we did put in an offer on a house, we got to the part that we truly could not have done without Abby! She put together comps and pulled in resources to help us come to an offer price, walked us through the closing process, was there every step of the way when we had questions, and was always willing and ready to meet us, an inspector, an appraised, or anyone else at the home who needed to be let in. We are SO grateful we found Abby and cannot recommend her enough!

My husband and I started looking for a new home for our growing family around the holidays. At this time, we were not sure what type of house we wanted or where we wanted to be. Amy helped us purchase our home in South Orange, NJ. We had an immediate need in a short period of time. My wife and I lived in Hoboken for 16 years. After having our second child, we decided it was time to find more space. I work in NYC, so I need an easy commute. Since we didn’t own a car, our knowledge of the surrounding suburban areas was limited. We met Amy after being referred to her group by several friends. Amy spent the first couple weekends taking us on tours of Chatham, Summit, New Providence, Short Hills, Millburn, Maplewood and South Orange. The purpose was to get us familiar with the communities. Susie has an extremely calming warm demeanor, which is invaluable when navigating a process as stressful as buying and or selling a home and moving. Invariably there are things that happen that make the process even more stressful than you expect, and having someone like Susie to work with makes all the difference.

My wife and I recently decided to move out of Manhattan to purchase a house. Last summer I decided to satisfy my curiosity and check out the open house taking place right down the street from my house in Maplewood.
