Why I recommend hiring Sue to sell your house..

“I first heard of Sue Adler when I found her website. I wasn’t actually in the market to buy or sell at the time, but her website was the only place that I could find real data on our local housing market. She also seemed to have the most interesting listings for houses in the area, which was another reason why I found myself visiting her website occasionally.

In October 2006, we decided to relocate to the Philadelphia area. The first and only agent that I called to list my house was Sue Adler. We called the number on her website and expected to hear back in a day or so. I think it took her 45 seconds or so to call us back. She came over the next day, advised us on what to do to get the house ready by Thanksgiving (recommending stagers and contractors that also showed up, returned our calls and bumped other jobs to help us get ready). She also guided us (and frankly, my new employer’s relocation counselor) through the process of putting the house on the market and gave us frank advice on selling our house in a down market.

Prior to listing our house, our relocation counselor sought an independent assessment of the value of our house from an additional realtor. When that estimate suggested that we should list our house almost three hundred thousand dollars less than Sue suggested, Sue fought to price the house at what she thought was right, and went to great pains to demonstrate to the relocation company why our house was more valuable then the independent analysis showed. She also gave us novel marketing advice with respect to our home’s property taxes, which would definitely have been an issue otherwise.

In the end, in a down market, at perhaps worst time to sell a house (between Thanksgiving and Christmas), Sue listed our house at what her analysis showed was the right price to sell. In a time when it was relatively unheard of, we entertained multiple offers and accepted one that was over $20,000 more than our listing price.

I would unhesitatingly recommend Sue to anyone looking to sell their house in the area. She knows the market. She has the data. And she’ll answer her phone when you call.”
