Four years ago, I started throwing an annual client party for two reasons. The first is obvious – to show my clients appreciation for being so amazing to me. After the first party I realized how many friendships were formed from my party because so many of our team’s buyers are new to Short Hills, Maplewood, Livingston, Summit, Chatham, etc.. So in many ways, I feel like its become more of a Newcomers Club party, where we have new relocation buyers coming each year, as well as our yearly regulars, who have made friends with each other. Its always alot of fun.
Needless to say, when I saw the client inverviews in the video, it made me smile. I’m really proud of my team. Other agents always are trying to figure out our success but the truth of the matter is - at the end of the day, aside from the skill it takes to do what we do, if you work from your heart and are truly an advocate for your client, and care, that’s what matters most and what the clients remember in the end.
Christine Harmon is interviewed by “Star Power” about her home buying and selling experiences with Sue Adler. Christine describes how connected Sue is in her communities and embraces all the latest technology in a way that other agents do not.
”She is very connected…everyone knows Sue… She keeps a pulse on her clients like I have not experienced before, it’s not just about the transaction with Sue!” Christine Harmon
In NJ, once both the buyer and seller have signed a contract agreeing to the price, closing date and basic contingencies, the contract then goes to the attorneys. They have 3 days to get in to “Attorney Review’. What typically happens is that the buyer’s attorney will write a letter to the Seller’s attorney disapproving the contract unless the following changes are made. This goes back and forth a couple of times and then once both parties sign off on the changes, attorney review is complete and the parties are under contract. The inspections normally take place after this, unless otherwise agreeed.
Elliot speaks in this video about my involvement throughout the entire real estate transaction. It is crucial that the Realtors stay involved and that your attorney and Realtor act as a team on your behalf in getting the transaction to the closing table. It’s crucial for the agents to help their clients keep the big picture in mind, take a proactive approach in bulletproofing a transaction, and stay “solution- oriented” at all times. It’s not 2005 anymore. This has become a skills-based business.
BEFORE and AFTER
Interviewing Buyer Agents? Hear what The Carlos have to say about their experience with The Sue Adler Team!
Where to begin? Sue Adler and her entire team of experts are truly amazing, knowledgeable and intuitive professionals who very easily become dear friends to you and your family. I first met Sue when we were exploring the area as we are out of state and she knew immediately where exactly to direct us and the tastes that fit our family. Buying our home with Sue and Dawn was very smooth and our time was treated with great respect. We only visited homes that reflected our tastes, needs and long term plans. Aside from identifying and facilitating the process, we quickly found that Dawn a unique resource for just about every vendor we needed to get our house ready to move-in. The fact that we did not have to “shop around” for attorneys, financial advisors, painters, etc., etc. made our life that much easier and allowed us to enjoy the process and quickly enjoy our new home. We cannot say enough about the professionalism, care, attentiveness, knowledge, expertise, network and sensible approach Sue and her team take with each of their clients. AMAZING – TOP NOTCH Service. Thank you!
