The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey’s “Picnic Series” Returns to Drew University

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey is launching into an incredible 2016 season! Checkout performances that run between May and August and get your picnic blankets and baskets out for the Picnic “Series”

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey is hosting free classics on the lawn of Drew University. Abridged versions of Shakespeare’s beloved classic “Romeo and Juliet” and Pierre de Marivaux’s “Triumph of Love” will be put on for this season’s “Picnic Series.” The “Next Stage Ensemble” will be performing this season’s “Picnic Series.”

Gather family and friends and enjoy an evening picnic at the outdoor theatre with Next Stage Ensemble, located on the beautiful and sprawling lawn of the F.M Kirby Shakespeare Theatre.

The Theatre in located on Drew University Campus in gorgeous Madison NJ, and admissions and parking are both FREE. Seating for the show is on a first-come, first-served basis, so show up early and settle in!
