Get ready to get your drink on! The up and coming micro-brewer Twin Elephant Brewing Company has leased a former industrial space at 13 Watchung Avenue in Chatham. NAI James E. Hanson, a New Jersey-baed commercial real estate firm in Fairfield, announced Tuesday that it has facilitated the lease of the 3,500 square foot spave to Twin Elephant Brewing Co. The owners of the brewery, Scott McLuskey, Cynthia Derama, and Ti Besecker expect to host a Grand Opening this fall.

“In addition to necessary physical features, such as ample floor space, high ceilings and a loading/unloading area, our client wanted to locate in a spot where it could draw visitors,” Ryan said.

With place as much of a priority as space, Twin Elephant Brewing Company has selected new headquarters that are advantageously located less than one mile from Route 24 and about two miles from Interstate 78.

“This is one of Morris County’s first micro-breweries and Chatham and its neighboring towns of Madison, Summit, New Providence, Short Hills and Millburn all present demographic profiles that are ideal for an artisanal brewery, and we presented this location as one that will enable Twin Elephant Brewing Company to serve the nearby population.”

In addition, Ryan said, “the tap room will be open to the public for tours and tastings Friday 5-10 p.m., Saturday 12-9 p.m. and Sunday 12-5 p.m.”
