– Halloween Hocus Pocus – Sunday, October 28 visit the Miller-Cory House Museum at 614 Mountain Avenue from 1:30 to 4 pm to celebrate Halloween Hocus Pocus. This program is perfect for young children as the museum’s costumed docents greet guests at this colonial farmhouse. Afternoon activities include Halloween cupcake decorating, story-telling, face painting and take home crafts. Come in costume. Refreshments and more. $4 for children; accompanying adults are free. – Downtown Westfield Sponsors Trick-or-Treating, Costume Contest &Parade – Bring the kids in costume on Sunday, October 28 from11 – 2:30 to trick-or-treat in the stores and restaurants throughout downtown. At 3 pm, The Optimist Club of Westfield will present a parade led by the Westfield High School Marching Band starting on Quimby Street. Entertainment and costumed characters will be available for family photos. Costume prizes will be awarded for pre-school through elementary age children.
– Westfield Symphony Orchestra’s Halloween Spooktacular: Dracula: A Musical – On Sunday, October 28, at 3 pm adults can enjoy a little bit of Halloween when the 1931 classic movie “Dracula” will rise to the big screen accompanied by a glorious new LIVE symphonic soundtrack. TCHAIKOVSKY Symphony No. 6 Pathetique. The Halloween celebrations continue with Tchaikovsky’s reflections on his darkest nightmares, epically dramatized in his haunting and explosive final symphony.
