Masterwork Chorus’s Annual “Summer Sings” in Chatham through July

Masterwork Chorus Chatham

The Masterwork Chorus continues its annual community “Summer Sings” this week, a program that continues through July at the Chatham United Methodist Church, 460 Main Street (Route 124) in Chatham. Each Sing begins at 7:30 p.m.

Summer Sings provide an ideal way to connect with like-minded music lovers, and features some of the area’s most prominent conductors and rising soloists, offering both singers and listeners the opportunity to revisit beloved choral masterpieces and discover new favorites.

This week’s Sing features Mozart’s Requiem and Ave Verum Corpus and Brahms’s Lass Dich Nur Nichts conducted by Ryan Brandau with professional soloists and accompanist.  Mr. Brandau is Artistic Director of Princeton Pro Musica and the Monmouth Civic Chorus.

Admission for singers is $14 and includes refreshments and loaner scores. Student and listener admission is $7.  For more information, including directions to the Sings and the complete five-week schedule, please visit Masterwork’s website at www.masterwork.org.
