Westfield’s Sweet Sounds Downtown Jazz Festival continues Tuesday nights through August 27th. With four performance spaces within just a few blocks of each other, guests can enjoy a variety of sweet sounds all in one night. Upcoming concerts feature:

Summer music is the rhythm of the night in New Jersey. Monday, August 12th features a free concert from Jay And the Americans at Jonathan Dayton High School Auditorium in Springfield. Jay and the Americans rose to fame in the 1960s and 1970s with the hit songs; “This Magic Moment”, “Cara Mia”, “Only In America” and “Come A Little Bit Closer”. The group features 3 original members Sandy Deanne, Howie Kane, Marty Sanders, the magnificent voice of Jay Reinecke as well as the wonderful USA Band.
