Around the Towns – October Fall Festivals

Driving to a Fall Festival is the perfect excuse to hit the road and explore a new area. These festivals have something for everyone and are a superb way to spend a beautiful autumn day outdoors with your family.

Bottle Hill Day Festival – Fun activities, including inflatable rides, pony rides and a petting zoo, arts and crafts and boardwalk arcade games. There will be over 200 local vendors and a food court. A car show runs concurrently in the Ambulance Corps parking lot.

Grand Harvest Wine Festival – Enjoy the picturesque farm setting at Fosterfields as you sample offerings from New Jersey’s best wineries. Over 300 wines will be available, as well as live music, delicious foods and crafts for purchase.

18th Annual Pumpkin Festival – Spend the day at the Whippany Railway Museum and Celebrate the Fall Harvest and the Season of the Witch, during the Museum’s 18th Annual Pumpkin Festival. Walk among the pumpkins, corn shocks and grinning scarecrows. Enjoy the wares of local craft merchants and railroad memorabilia dealers.

Lenape Day –  Celebrate Lenape culture at the Great Swamp by learning about its traditions and history. Take part in hands-on activities, watch demonstrations and view Lenape artifacts on display. Guided walks along the wooded trails are also offered. Food is available for purchase from Whole Foods Market.

Oktoberfest & Vender Fair – Travel to Warren for live Bavarian music, delectables, beer & dancing at the Main Pavillon. You’ll also find 60 local vendors selling a wide range of products. Don’t forget to bring the kids to this Family Fun Day!  Kid’s will keep busy with amusement rides, inflatables and carnival booths.

Westfield Street Fair and Craft Show – Artists, Crafters, Vendors, Food, Rides, Live Music & more.

Seton Village Food Tuck and Craft Beer Festival – More than 20 area Food Trucks • Craft Beer Garden featuring more than 25 NJ craft beers, hosted by the Gaslight Brewery and Restaurant • Live music featuring Bullshark and Flip da Skrip  and much more.

Goat Festival at the Summit Arboretum – Games, crafts, music, face painting, and of course goats. Families can explore our Spooky Trail, decorate a pumpkin, and join our costume parade. Or enjoy the golden autumn colors and crisp weather with some yummy fare from one of the vendors.

New Providence’s Fall Festival Street Fair – There will be mechanical kiddie rides, climbing wall, pony rides, petting zoo, clown, face painting, sand art, temporary tattoos!  Live entertainment all day long featuring bands, dancers, karate demonstrations and more.
