Mountainside students can also attend one of the Union County vocational/technical schools, specializing in the performing arts, information technology and health sciences.

Although there is no Midtown Direct Train, residents can access NJ Transit train stations in nearby Summit or Westfield. In about 50 minutes, residents can take advantage of an excellent bus service from various locations in Mountainside to Port Authority terminal. For New York’s financial district commuter, the PATH Rapid Transit System takes commuters straight into Hoboken where you can continue onto the financial district or take the ferry across from Hoboken.
By car, Route 22, 23, 124, I-78, the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway are all easily accessible, and Newark Liberty Airport, a major continental and international gateway, is only 11 miles away.
