Class sizes are small and the district offers extensive support to differentiate instruction in order to meet the individuals needs of each student. The district also makes use of extensive instructional technology, such as wireless laptops and Smart Boards. A community education program, Pathways to Learning, through a partnership with Morris County Arts Workshop (MCAW), provides unique learning opportunities after school and during the summer months for children who want to pursue a variety of interests.

Mendham High School has the distinction of being one of the few schools in the state that offers an International Baccalaureate program. Highly ranked, the school has a well deserved reputation. In addition to challenging students academically, various academic, artistic and social clubs are offered along with boys and girls sports teams.
