Maplewoodstock is a two day festival of local music and arts put on by your friends and neighbors. The event started in 2004 with one day and a few local bands. Over the years it has evolved to two days, with food and arts vendors, a KidsZone, and some headline regional and national music acts.
Maplewoodstock is usually scheduled for the Saturday and Sunday following Independence Day.  But, owing to the closeness of Independence Day to the weekend this year (July 4 is a Thursday), Maplewoodstock has been moved to the following weekend (July 13-14, 2013).  Each day typically kicks off about noon and ends around 9 p.m.
The Kids Zone has doubled in size with three inflatable, mini golf, a dunk tank, face paint, toys, sand art, and for the first time we are offering free games, arts and crafts, and fun demonstrations for the whole family to enjoy. There will also be all day music with headliners such as Puss N Boots, Robert Randolph and The Family Band, and Raul Midon. And great vendors and plenty of  food!
Since 2012, Maplewoodstock has offered a Beer Garden, where local beer and a limited selection of wine was available for purchase.  Entry to the Beer Garden requires proof of age (21+), and all liquor must stay within the Beer Garden.  Its operating hours are 2 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Maplewoodstock is 100% self-supported by  merch sales (t-shirts, hats, lawn signs),  sponsors and advertisers, and fees from the food and art vendors and band applicants. The event is free and open to the public, and will be held at Memorial Park in Maplewood.
