Are you a coffee aficionado? If you’ve ever spent time researching on-line the perfect steaming temperature for an espresso or contemplating how barometric pressure and temperature shifts affect a pulled shot, you may be one. But, whether you’re an aficionado or just love a good cup of coffee, you need to pay a visit to downtown Millburn’s newest coffee shop, The Peccary. You will not be disappointed.

Although The Peccary Baristas Assemble! just opened its doors in September, the baristas had been at it for months mastering the craft of making the perfect cup of coffee, espresso, latte, etc. as they prepared for the grand opening. Friendly and knowledgeable, they are also very creative as evidenced by drink offerings such as:

  • Pumpkin Spice/Mocha Latte, made with real pumpkin pulp
  • The “Cascanga”, created with cascara concentrate and 100% mango juice
  • “The Amazing Cider-Man”, a blend of apple cider, espresso, and lemon.

If you’re overwhelmed by the selections or just unsure what to order, ask the baristas for help. They’re super helpful and you may even get offered a sample or two.

The setting is chic and the ambience is laid back – a great place to relax while you enjoy your freshly prepared beverage. Beans are sourced from Tandem Coffee Roasters in Portland, Maine and local farm favorites, such as Hacklebarney’s Cider Mill in Chester, are also available. In addition, there is a limited menu offering.

The Peccary is an experience and worth a visit. So take a break from your normal coffee routine and enjoy an outstanding cup of coffee.
