Like everything else about 2020, this holiday season will undoubtedly be different than those in years past. The pandemic has changed things for many of us, but it has also brought a greater appreciation of the many small aspects of life, which were once taken for granted, such as intimate family homecooked dinners, long walk, and children playing in the neighborhood. For the Sue Adler Team, this season, we decided to make a more conscious effort to reflect on the positives and the things for which we are thankful.
One of our greatest blessings is the people in our lives— our friends, family, co-workers, and especially our clients— like you. So, on the most American holiday, we continued our tradition of giving back by giving over 350 delicious freshly baked pies to our amazing clients. We also collected bags of canned goods and more than $1,200 that will be donated to the Interfaith Food Pantry, which assists 40,000 NJ residents who have food insecurities. The Sue Adler Team will be matching all donations.
In addition, we decided that this year, in lieu of our traditional 100th Home Sale Charity Program, we would spread the love amongst each of the top charities that the community had voted for over the past six years. Each of this year’s designated charities works tirelessly to make our corner of the world a better place. Their goals are inspiring and most importantly, they all make a monumental impact on families and individuals in our local communities. Each is beyond worthy of our donation. We are proud to announce that this year, we contributed $1,000 to each of the following:
Interfaith Food Pantry of the Oranges
Savvy Giving by Design – NJ Chapter
FLAG (Front Line Appreciation Group) of Chatham-Madison
Summit Overlook Hospital
Morristown Medical Center
