Celebrate with Spectacular Fireworks and Enchanting Parades in New Jersey this Fourth of July!

As summer takes hold and patriotic spirit fills the air, we are thrilled to bring you some of the best fireworks displays and captivating parades happening right here in our local neighborhoods! Whether you’re looking to create unforgettable memories with family and friends or want to experience the true essence of community celebration, we have curated an extraordinary list of events that will leave you in awe.

Dazzling Fireworks & Patriotic Parades Happening Near You:

Chatham: At 10:30am kick off the day of celebration by attending the annual 4th of July parade, beginning at the intersection of Hillside Avenue and Main Street and concluding at the Chatham Middle School. Once it’s dark, enjoy the fireworks display, where gates open at 7pm for the Chatham Middle School Field Click here for more!

Florham Park: Head downtown at the intersection of Brooklake and Ridgedale Avenue at 9am to see the start of the 66th annual town parade! Enjoy all the food, games, and social garden at the Boro Complex, and then find your way to the Recreation Center fields for the fireworks celebration beginning at 9pm! Click here for more!

Livingston: Enjoy the celebration with the 30th annual autofest, featuring the largest 4th of July car show in NJ! There will be children’s events, adult entertainment (including beer garden and hatchet throwing) along with a live band performance! From 12pm till 7pm enjoy all the events at the Livingston High School parking lot. Fireworks will conclude the day of fun at 9pm at the Oval. Click here for more!

Maplewood: Independence Day starts at 6pm on Sunday, July 2nd, in Maplewood! Featuring live music, food, DJ, and your favorite lawn chair, be prepared for a night of fun at Memorial Park! On July 4th, do not miss the opportunity to proudly showcase your decorated set of wheels at 10am with the bike parade! Beginning at Ricalton Square in the Village and ending at Memorial Park North, where cool refreshments will be served! Click here for more!

Mendham: Start the 4th of July Weekend with a Boom! Fireworks are this Friday, June 30, beginning at 6:30 pm on Mosle Field. With magician entertainment from 6:30pm-7:30pm and a live band concert from 7:30pm-9pm, you will not want to miss this! Games and bouncy house entertainment will also be available for kids, and fireworks will begin around 9:15pm. This event is BYOB, so have fun and drink responsibly! Click here for more!

Millburn & Short Hills: Begin the day at 9am by watching the Boy Scouts and dignitaries raise the flag at Taylor Park! Shortly after, by 10am, enjoy some free family fun with activities that include magic shows and stilt walkers, dance parties, face painting, and a ride around the park! Fireworks will conclude the day of pride at Millburn High School Football Field, where doors open at 7:30pm and the show begins at 9:30pm! There will be DJ music, food, and ice cream trucks galore! Montclair: The day of fun kicks off at 11am with the LARGEST regional Independence Day parade traveling west on Bloomfield Avenue and concluding at Edgemont Park where the games begin at 1pm! Click here for more!

Morristown: Grab your history books for some 18th-century fun from 12 pm-1:30pm at Morristown’s National Historical Parks on Wahington’s Headquarters Museum. This free “Warm up for the Declaration” will be sure to entertain the whole family! Click here for more!

New Providence: Start the celebration early on Monday, July 3rd from 7pm-9:30pm for some live music, giveaways, and fireworks! These fireworks will be launched near South Street starting at 9:30pm, but can be seen from any location in town! Click here for more!

South Orange: Plans this Saturday? Check out the ultimate weekend activities with the July 1st Town Hall Deli Sloppy Joe Eating Contest, a performance by the South Orange Symphony, a showing of the critically acclaimed movie “1776” on the big screen, and so much more! From amazing food trucks to tons of kids’ games, everyone can find something to enjoy! Springfield: Get ready for a day of explosive fun! From 5pm-7:30pm at Meisel Avenue Park enjoy trackless trains, a petting zoo, pony rides, live music, and great fireworks, you do not want to miss any of it! Summit: The 76th annual July 4th festivities begin at noon at Soldiers Memorial Field, where the children’s decorated bicycle parade, arcades, food trucks, and live music will be sure to entertain all ages! West Essex: Calling all West Essex communities for the 4th annual 4th of July celebrations! Gates open at the James Calwell High School Baseball Field in West Caldwell at 7pm, where DJ Dan Duca will help entertain spectators until the fireworks begin lighting up the sky! Donations are appreciated, with $1 for kids under 12 and $3 for adults and teens! Click here for more!

Westfield & Scotch Plains: On Saturday, July 1st start the weekend off at the Shady Rest Country Club, 820 Jerusalem Rd., Scotch Plains, where from 7pm-10pm kids’ games and a fireworks display will be sure to impress all! This event only requires a comfy blanket or chair to enjoy! Click here for more! Then, on Sunday, July 2nd enjoy food from over 15 vendors, sangria, craft beer, kid fun, live music, and more! All for just a $6 entry fee. This event begins at 12pm and ends at 9:30pm (after the fireworks show at 9pm)!
