As the leaves turn vibrant shades of red and gold, and the air grows crisp and fragrant, fall graces us with its enchanting presence. It’s that time of the year when nature transforms into a breathtaking masterpiece, and the desire to immerse ourselves in seasonal activities becomes irresistible. If you’re looking to make the most of the autumn season, here are some wonderful local activities to help you embrace the spirit of fall!

 

Montclair

The Fall Fest is back on Saturday, September 30th at the Montclair History Center from 11am-4pm! Hosted by the Montclair Community Farms and the History Center, this event culminates the harvest season with a day brimming with delicious food, autumn-themed activities, farm friendly animals from across Essex County, and live music provided by Montclair’s own School of Rock band!

Madison

Bottle Hill Day on October 7th from 10am-5pm provides the ultimate street festival, spanning over six blocks! It includes sidewalk sales, four stages with live music, three Amusement Areas, food, and 225+ vendors, including non-profits, crafters, retail businesses, etc.There will be great food options, including the Food Court on Cook Avenue, other food vendors throughout the festival, and a Food Truck Court on Kings Road. Morristown

October 1st from 12pm-5pm come join the fun at the Morristown Annual Festival on the Green! This event provides enjoyment for all ages, including live music on 3 different stages, children’s amusements, carnival games, a beer tent and 150+ exhibitors showcasing local businesses, restaurants, and notable community groups! Florham Park

Enjoy a day of good music and good food at the Florham Park P.B.A. Food Truck and Music Festival on October 8th from 11am-7pm! This event features 12+ food vendors, live music from Naughty Humphrey and Grand Theft Audio NJ, craft vendors, Games, and activities for kids and adults, and of course a bar with adult beverages being bartended by friends and family of your Florham Park Police. South Orange

Have an afternoon of fun with a craft and activity filled event for kids of all ages to enjoy! This event features tinsel hair, pumpkin decorating, and more on October 1st from 11am-1pm! Click here for more on this free event!

Summit 

On Friday, September 29th enjoy some live music in the heart of downtown Summit from 5-8pm! Musicians will be scattered throughout town sharing their talents with the public! Short Hills & Millburn
