Sue Adler Team Donates $10,000 Through Their 100th Home Sale Charity Program to Support Education and Local Volunteer EMT Services!

CHATHAM, December 14th, 2022 — The Sue Adler Team of Keller Williams Realty donated a total of $10,000 to local organizations this year as part of its annual 100th Home Sale Charity Program. This year, the top residential real estate team focused its donations on education foundations and volunteer emergency services within our train line towns. Checks were presented during the Sue Adler Team’s yearly VIP Client Appreciation Pie Day event, which was held at its Chatham office on November 22nd.

Part of the Sue Adler Team’s EDGE is giving back to the communities in which it serves. As Sue Adler, CEO, always says, “money is only good for the good it can do!” With that in mind, the team launched its 100th Home Sale Charity Program in 2016 as a way to celebrate an exciting business milestone and pay it forward in a meaningful way.

Each year, as the team closes on its 100th home sale, they donate the commission to surrounding charities and organizations. This year’s recipients include: Millburn Education Foundation (MEF), Summit Educational Foundation (SEF), Chatham Education Foundation (CEF), Achieve Foundation, Madison Education Foundation (MEF), New Providence EMS, Millburn-Short Hills Volunteer First Aid Squad (MSHVFAS), Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad, Chatham Emergency Squad, and South Orange Rescue Squad.

“We are so grateful for this check,” said Eileen Collins Neri, Executive Director of South Orange and Maplewood’s Achieve Foundation. “This will go toward our robust teacher grants program,” which supports educators all around the district which comprises 10 schools and almost 7,000 students.

Laura Bojanowski, President of Chatham Education Foundation (CEF), said that they also plan on putting the Sue Adler Team’s donation toward funding grants submitted by teachers and district administrators, to “enrich the curriculum of all of our 6 district schools.”

John Staunton, Chief of Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad, said that the squad, which is staffed solely by volunteers and operates entirely by private donations, is grateful for the Sue Adler Team’s donation. “Since COVID,” he said, “the price of almost everything we use on our ambulance has gone up quite a bit, as has the cost of training our members.” Staunton added that they plan on putting the money toward training new members in early 2023.

The Sue Adler Team is honored to not only support these amazing organizations via monetary donations, but to also further their involvement through volunteering and using their network to amplify these groups’ missions and initiatives. The Sue Adler Team has had the great privilege of being recognized by a number of the recipients at several annual fundraising events.
The Sue Adler Team is the #1 Keller Williams Team in NJ for dollar volume, and has ranked #1 in the GSMLS, out of ~10,000 agents, for dollar volume closed production since 2013. Philanthropy is one of the team’s pillars and it looks forward to giving back again in 2023.
