We’ve been getting a ton of calls from people who are thinking about getting their home on the market during the spring season. That season has actually started, so we wanted to fill you in a little bit about what the ideal timeline looks like.
If you’re someone who wants to have your home sold by the end of the school year, you really want to get your home on the market at least 90 days prior. Then you need to focus on what you need to do to get your house ready by that time.
There are two parts to the listing agreement. The first is the pre-listing part. We’ll bring in a pre-inspector to see if repairs need to be made, we’ll check to see if permits have been picked up, then we’ll go through your home room by room to determine what we need to do to get your home sold quickly and for top dollar. Some rooms might require some heavy staging, while some might just require a touch of paint.
