Laura Norwalk Bendelius

Laura and her family moved to Morris County 12 years ago, to be near her husband’s family, while they raise their two daughters. With an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a 20-year career building her own private client business in luxury fashion sales, Laura’s passion for building relationships and her business acumen translates well to helping her clients find their dream homes.

Since Laura did not grow up in NJ, she relates to her clients who are moving her from outside the area, like she did. Her focus is on helping clients find homes within an hour of the city. Having grown up the Midwest, she found it daunting to learn about the area and different towns and communities. So, she always encourages her clients, whether from the city, or if moving locally, to take a town tour. She loves hearing her clients’ thoughts about the different neighborhoods they drive through and learning their priorities (whether walk to train, a large yard, what number of bedrooms, proximity to schools, etc.), so that she zeros in on their wants and finds the home for them. Additionally, she regularly connects clients with friends in the different communities, so they may get additional questions answered. Finally, she encourages them to eat out in each town they are considering. By educating her clients and giving them the experiences and tools to choose the best town for their family, Laura’s clients have been happy with their decisions.

Once the search is narrowed down to a couple of towns, Laura educates her clients on the current real estate market in that community. She shares her connections with mortgage brokers, local real esta

Once the search is narrowed down to a couple of towns, Laura educates her clients on the current real estate market in that community. She shares her connections with mortgage brokers, local real estate lawyers, inspectors, and service providers (architects, contractors, roofers, etc.) with her clients and helps her clients have a smooth transaction. Buying a home is stressful, and since the stress doesn’t end after closing, Laura continues to help clients with their home needs to ensure a great transition. She knows that clients aren’t simply buying a home, they are looking to build a life.

Personally, Laura loves spending time with her husband and two girls. Whether cheering them on at a dance recital or on the soccer field, she loves spending time with them. Laura has gotten involved in her children’s schools, her church and her community. She is an avid tennis player and makes time to do that in between her clients and her family commitments. She has built a great life in NJ and would love to help you do that, too.

The Sue Adler Team was exceptional in the marketing and selling our home! Our agent, Laura Norwalk Bendelius, was incredibly responsive and attentive every step of the way! We were so fortunate to have Laura as our agent! This was the first time we worked with a "team" and could not be happier - or more impressed. Every person on the Sue Adler Team is assigned a specific role in the process - whether it be from initial staging and recommendations, how your home will be listed, how appointments will be set up, closing checklists, etc. -- someone is always checking on you and reaching out. The level of detail and care was unsurpassed. The Team worked on our behalf through each step of the process. Most importantly, because of the level of care and detail, we were under contract within a week of listing!!! Laura, Sue and the Team made what is a cumbersome process easy and stress free. I recommend Laura and the Sue Adler Team without hesitation!Read Less

We were very lucky to work with Laura on our house search. She is exceptionally knowledgeable about the housing market and can tell you about the recent sale history of every house in various towns, seemingly from memory. The purchase process in NJ is more complex than I thought and I can’t imagine that any other agent would have spent the considerable amount of time guiding us through the process as Laura did. I appreciate her constant availability and for really caring about our needs. While she’s undoubtedly very busy, she always made me feel like a priority and really went above and beyond for us during every step of our search.Read Less
