Working with Sue Adler's team was a pleasure. They are an amazing team with different members who specialize in different areas during the selling process. Larry spent time explaining and analyzing the current market trends and providing the best approach to selling my condo. His expertise, detail, and dedication, made the process stress-free and smooth; Kelsey is the best transaction Manager who managed the whole selling transaction and was kind and patient to guide me to the right person to fix the problems. Reem coordinates my listing process and makes sure every piece looks great to sell my condo, she is amazing with all the preparation work in the listing. Sandra spent time with me to make sure the inspection went well and coordinate with the city inspector for my certificate. Overall, they divide the work to the right person maximize their expertise, and make sure everything goes as planned or even better! Will definitely recommend this awesome team to others!
Terrific experience working with Sue's entire team. They were exceptional and made what could have been a difficult process smooth and painless. I wasn’t even sure I was ready to sell or how to start the process. A cold call from someone on Sue's team in August is what set this entire process in motion and ultimately led to a great outcome for me! Larry was a treasure and at every point along the way he was diligent, thoughtful and attentive. He answered all of my questions (which were many) and made me feel I was in a safe pair of hands, even when it looked dicey. Likewise, the transaction team of Chris and Kelsey made sure everything ran smoothly and walked me through all the necessary paperwork and up-front details. Kelsey was also terrific at managing the logistics of closings and highly attentive to all the details that probably would have slipped my mind. She met with the handyman, coordinated letting his team in, etc. She truly went above and beyond to make this sale happen. Erika and Aislinn got me ready for staging and photos and brought the house to life. Multiple people commented on how beautifully the house photographed and I credit Sue's team for all of that. And finally (hope I am not leaving anyone out) - Jessica! She facilitated all of the inspections with the town, including the CO. She met with the inspectors and town agents when I couldn’t and I literally had my house in her hands. Bottom line, from someone who works in a business where customer service and the client experience is everything, Sue's team is exceptional and made the process of selling my home look easy, though I know there was a tremendous amount of work on their parts behind the scenes. I don’t have any other properties to sell but I would recommend her team without a doubt to anyone looking to sell a home in the area.
We were living abroad and came to the area to find a house. Larry had only half a week to find us something. He showed us some great houses, worked with us to determine what we were really looking for and ended up getting us our dream house. Larry is friendly, knowledgeable and persistent. We couldn’t have found a better agent.
Amy helped us purchase our home in South Orange, NJ. We had an immediate need in a short period of time. We were first time home buyers and she helped guide us through the process and put together a first class team to get us through all aspects of the transaction. I'll start with WOW...from the moment that I met Sue, I was so impressed with her local area knowledge and business savvy. I respected and admired her approach to selling a home. Lets get the price right and the customers will come...even potentially a bidding war. And she was right...at the right price I received multiple offers within 4 days of the listing. All were either above listing or at listing. What made the experience with the Sue Adler Team was her team. Between Sue, Melissa ( Listing Success Manager) and Neil (Transaction Manager), I felt completely at ease and they were there when I needed. Justin is the best real estate agent out there. Working with Justin, you will experience comfort, confidence, professionalism, and learn all you need to know about the home buying experience. He stuck with our family for many years throughout the home buying process, always going out of his way to help accommodate the changing landscape. And after many years and plenty of offers that came up just short we found our perfect home in New Jersey. We cannot say enough great things about Justin and we are so happy we used him to find a place to raise our family.
As late as Spring of 2021 I didn't even know I was going to sell my home. I am a widower with two adult children and one had already moved out and for the last few years I had been considering what to do with the inevitable arrival of "empty nest" status. But after a year of lockdown and pandemic any major lifestyle moves like that seemed on hold. Then my younger child did leave just as I began to notice house sales booming in my town. I began to consider a long-held, but not articulated, notion to return to New York City after my quarter-century sojourn raising my family in South Orange, NJ. The timing seemed right: the seller's market was hot in my neighborhood and there were deals to be had on apartments in Manhattan. But without a prior timeline I had not done the work I thought my house would require to list high or even considered staging it for sale. I could have waited for a year but for all kinds of reasons the time seemed right. NOW. After attending a Sue Adler virtual seminar I decided to ask about the merits of an "as is" sale. Within a week one of her associates had visited my home and discussed the merits and minuses of such a move. I decided time was as much of a factor as anything else in my decision and within two weeks my house was listed for a number researched and recommended by the Sue Adler team. After a weekend we had multiple offers all over asking and in three it weeks I was under contract. A month later the sale closed and I was living in my new apartment on the upper west side of Manhattan. Some of the process was exasperating and frustrating as I had not sold a house before—and there was additional complexity in securing my New York apartment. But anytime I needed to be walked back from the ledge the Sue Adler team were there. They acted as a support “care team” taking me through every step in the journey from the first consultation to the final closing. It was total customer care: from crafting the listing to recommending movers to obtaining the necessary permits and even providing ideas on where to sell or donate downsized items. Everyone I dealt with - Laurie, Jessica, Aislinn, Erika and Luciano- expressed an empathy alongside their professionalism that went above and beyond mere service in support of a commission. I’ve achieved a goal that seemed like a pipe dream only a few months ago. As I walk my dogs in Central- or Riverside Parks or look out from my new apartment onto 107th Street, off of Broadway, I am still in the “pinch me” mode. We did it! My wife and I lived in Hoboken for 16 years. After having our second child, we decided it was time to find more space. I work in NYC, so I need an easy commute. Since we didn’t own a car, our knowledge of the surrounding suburban areas was limited. We met Amy after being referred to her group by several friends. Amy spent the first couple weekends taking us on tours of Chatham, Summit, New Providence, Short Hills, Millburn, Maplewood and South Orange. The purpose was to get us familiar with the communities. It was great! Soon we were looking at houses. We had only lived in condos. Amy was great at explaining everything we didn’t understand (SUP pumps??). After a couple weeks, we figured out what we wanted in a house. At a social event, Amy had a casual conversation with someone that was considering selling their home. After hearing the description and then visiting the house, she knew it fit our requirements to a tee. We made a special trip out to see the home, and made an offer later that night. After some good negotiating on Amy’s end, the offer was accepted. Amy is extremely knowledgeable of the towns along the midtown direct train lines. She works hard for her buyers; educating them about the neighborhoods and diligently searches for appropriate houses. I think she will do a great job for you too!
We were delighted with the professionalism demonstrated by Sue Adler and her team headed by Ms. Dawn Preziosis. They were there for us at each stage from preparing to sell our home to dealing with the closing process several months after the sale. During that period of time, they managed the various problems of preparing the house for us after we had already moved to another state. We highly recommend this team. They helped to make a stressful time in our lives into a manageable experience.
