After having my house on the market for the better part of a year I knew in my heart that I needed a new agent. The second time around I was rigorous in making a selection and with several seemingly good candidates in hand, I went with my gut and chose to go with Sue's team. It was a terrific decision. Every single person on Sue's team, including Sue, is kind, honest, responsive, and EXTREMELY knowledgeable in his/her respective area of expertise. As a single working mom who commutes 5 days a week, often travels for work and juggles a hectic schedule all around the service Sue's team provided to me top to bottom ensured I was constantly looked after, my interests were represented, and that I sold my house quickly and smoothly -- with no hiccups. It isn't just about getting offers... it's about taking you through the whole process and ensuring you are well represented at every turn right up through the closing. So it comes as no surprise that I used Sue's team on the buying end as well, and I was equally cared for and looked after in every way. Peter was an absolute GEM. Patient. Responsive. He listened to me. He heard and understood what I was looking for. He took me to see so many houses weekend after weekend after weekend, often with my kids in tow and as sweet and kind to them as you can imagine. At the time my kids were 7 and 5 and not terribly patient in Mommy's long home searching process. Peter was lovely to them. Absolutely lovely. And though our months of searching I made many offers, got into many bidding wars, lost houses because of my nagging home sale contingency and we started over again and again and again. And though it all Peter stayed with me, guided me, consulted with me, worked through every deal patiently and thoroughly. Never getting frustrated or pushing me to concede unnecessarily. He genuinely had my best interests at heart. Determined as I was to find my new home. And ultimately, when a house I had lost out on in a bidding war came back on the market he caught it immediately. He sent me the notice and we made another offer.... this time accepted. He was attentive and present with me through the inspections and all the final negotiations, always with my best interests in mind to the very end. When I closed on each house -- my sale and my buy -- I heard cheers from both Sue and Peter, who were genuinely happy for me, GENUINELY(!), to start this new chapter in my life. Without question, I would highly recommend to everyone I know! And, um, I already have. :)

The Sue Adler Team can not be compared to other realtors! Sue is a powerhouse in every way. Her knowledge of the Summit market is one of her best assets. She timed our listing perfectly. We received multiple offers the first weekend! However, her team's work does not end here. Dawn, the team's transaction manager, was there with us through the rest of the selling process, from the home inspection to repairs to the final walk through. Peter, Sue's husband and our buyer specialist, also did an amazing job in helping us with our purchase. The Sue Adler team helped us both to sell our existing home and to purchase a new one. Peter Jacoby, the team member who helped us find and purchase a home, possessed a great knowledge of the local (Short Hills and Summit, in our case) housing market and always made sure we viewed potential listings as soon as they came on the market. Once we found the house we wanted, he navigated us through a competitive, multiple-bid offer process and advised us skillfully regarding the offer and subsequent negotiations. He has a wonderfully affable manner and we really enjoyed working with him. Also, if we needed any special expertise or intervention to negotiate a sticky point, we knew we could always also call upon Sue to be a strong advocate and get the situation resolved. Sue Adler was the agent who handled the sale of our home. She gave us helpful advice on staging. Peter also does the listing photography for the team. Sue has an amazing grasp of the local market and her sharp strategic thinking regarding pricing and the timing of the listing led to us receiving multiple offers during our first weekend on the market.  Once we entered the inspection/closing phase of the sell, Dawn, a member of the team who specializes in the inspection/closing process, became an invaluable resource for us. She has great expertise regarding inspection related issues and was able to help us find trustworthy service providers to address various repairs. Right up until the closing, Dawn was always available to answer any questions we had as well as communicate any questions or concerns to our buyers' realtor. The team approach proved amazingly effective for us. When Sue Adler says that hers is a "team" effort, that's the real truth, and one of the major strengths of selecting her as your agent. Her husband, Peter Jacoby, took what are by far the best photographs of our former home, a rather unique Mid-Century Modern ranch in Mendham, NJ. It's an unusual 10,000+ square foot space, and Peter captured the expansive Great Room and its architectural details, the oversize Master Bedroom, and all the other rooms and 7 acres of grounds with a skill and creativity that brought in more interested visitors that any previous realtor. They were also open to using our own photographs of the house in different seasons and times of day which, especially for the outside pool, offered a more comprehensive look at the property. Then, with a sale pending, Dawn Preziosi - handling closing logistics - was always responsive, returning calls within hours if not answering immediately, and offering advice to address all the many items that need addressing when a home has wells, a septic system and the Twp has lots of permitting and CO requirements. On all that, Dawn was excellent, and Kaitlin in Sue's main office kept things moving forward. Sue herself suggested staging our basement, which we'd been using as a home office, and making it feel more livable. That also worked, but - of course - her professional advice as to setting the right price at the right time of year was critical. Lastly we feel her team's special expertise at servicing the "MidTown Direct" communities of Short Hills, Summit, etc., brought in a larger and broader set of potential Buyers than any previous realtor. For all those reasons, we're happy to recommend the Adler Team, and hope your experiences are as happy and successful as ours.

The Sue Adler team is the best in the Real Estate “game”. I had an Amazing experience working with Sue to sell my home in Northside Summit. I met Sue back in 2013 when I first thought about putting my house on the Market. I was so impressed at our first consultation that I knew I just HAD to work with Sue. I decided to wait a bit before putting my house up for sale. Sue completely respected my hesitancy and did not put any pressure on me.
