Lee helped us with our first home purchase. He was honest, friendly, professional and knowledgeable and willing to accommodate our schedules even if it meant showings first thing Sunday morning or after work during the week. He was willing to go the extra mile - whether it was to get us into see house we wanted to see or meeting a contractor to get an estimate on short notice. My wife and I lived in Hoboken for 16 years. After having our second child, we decided it was time to find more space. I work in NYC, so I need an easy commute. Since we didn’t own a car, our knowledge of the surrounding suburban areas was limited. We met Amy after being referred to her group by several friends. Amy spent the first couple weekends taking us on tours of Chatham, Summit, New Providence, Short Hills, Millburn, Maplewood and South Orange. The purpose was to get us familiar with the communities. I hired Sue Adler as our realtor (we were the seller) based on her reputation around town. what I didn't know (or frankly understand well) was that not only would i get her but her "team". I had no real concept of what that approach was all about, but now that I've seen it in action I'd highly recommend it to anyone. its seems sort of the realtor concept on steroids! Sue basically has an expert on all aspects of selling houses working with her. Whatever questions I had (electrical, structural, legal etc) she has someone that handles it immediately. No waiting for her to consult an outside expert. It's the no waiting aspect that i really liked. When I had a question, I wanted a quick answer and got it!! She had promised at our first meeting that calls would be answered within 15 minutes. Frankly I didn't really believe that speil but it proved absolutely correct throughout the entire process. Sue herself knows her business and her market extremely well. I needed a good marketer but one that was not obnoxious. Sue brought me several offers after the first weekend and and exceeded all my expectations in every aspect. I would recommend her and her "team of experts" approach to anyone looking to sell (or buy) in her markets.

I don't normally give reviews, as while most people I work with do a good job, it is no more than they should be doing. Sue and her team are the exception to my rule. We had bought another home out of state and were moving to it prior to listing our NJ one, and so it could have been a nightmare of a process as I am a control freak and wouldn't be able to see what was going on or get involved. From DAY ONE, the Adler team never let me down. From marketing to open house, to feedback follow-ups and more importantly keeping me updated with HONEST information, apart from the 750 miles between us I felt as though I was there. Sue got 3 offers and perfectly negotiated the deal. Dawn was the project manager and while there truly were minimal issues that the buyers wanted attended to, it was an absolute relief when Dawn told me that she would handle it all. We have bought and sold several times and never had the level of care or service that was being shown by Sue and Dawn. Dawn also handled the required town inspections, letting me know when they were taking place and once they were done. I think I can sum up Sue Adler and her wonderful team simply by saying that they are honest professionals. They know what they are doing and try and take the stress out of the process, they are honest with all information (it may not be exactly what you want to hear but it's the truth) and they do what they say they will do. Sue doesn't sell homes in NC so I doubt we will ever work with her again, but I can guarantee you that if we ever were to look to buy a house in NJ again we would certainly work with Sue and we have zero reservations about recommending her to our friends and anyone else who will listen to us!
